The data, or indicators, are quantitative measures of the quality of community life. They reflect a combination of idealism (what we would like to measure) and pragmatism (what we are able to measure) in nine different categories, which reflect a comprehensive view of the community.

Autism Workshop

THIS WORKSHOP IS FULL.

We often recognize behaviors associated with Autism but are uncertain how to meet the needs of children with Autism in our facilities.  Come and learn practical strategies and simple changes for providing a quality early learning environment for young children with Autism.This workshop is designed for Child Care Professionals. 

Date: Saturday, April 20, 2013 9:00-4:00
Location: The Community Partnership for Child Development/Head Start Offices,
2330 Robinson Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80904.
Registration fee: $40.00. Boxed lunches and snacks will be provided.

 

Reflective Leadership Training

 

For Early Childhood Education Program Directors & Supervisors

 

The  El Paso County Alliance For Kids Reflective Leadership program is organized into 9 monthly day-long sessions.  Participants are expected to attend all sessions and to complete a project applying new learning at their work site.  Experienced early childhood educators will be available as project mentors. Download Registration Form.
